Is a series of four short experimental films told through the narratives of
objects - lost and found, worn, discarded, treasured. The films deal with
themes of loss, misplacement, memories, missed opportunities, happiness
found in unusual places, optimism, and despair. Coats, lighters, trees,
and the sea each have a compelling story to be heard.

STORIES FROM THE COATS is a collection of vigniettes told from the
point of view of varios garments, worn, used, having their own experiences, ready
to tell stories. This project came after watching films by experimental
French filmmaker Marguerite Duras, a discovery that the power of image,
text, and sound is a profound getaway into someone's soul.
COATS tell their essential stories shot in a garden in Saint-Loup
in France at the house of Sandrine Prévost-Servent.
